LEARNING WITH SONAR
WORKING IN A PROJECT
Most of the time in SONAR is dedicated to record and listen to the project as it develops. Toolbar transport, shown below, contains the most important tools and other
pieces of information you need to record and play back the draft.
Each project has a current time is known as weather. When recording or playing back a project, the current time shows the position of the proposed placement. When you create a project, the current
time is adjusted at the beginning of the project. The current moment in time that is saved in the project.
Control the recording and playback using the tools in the transport bar, which function as a cassette deck or CD player.
CREATING THE FIRST DRAFT.
We already know the main tools in SONAR to start, now try to do our first recording midi, check all devices starting with something simple like a small piano.
Later we will know more than SONAR and will expand our knowledge in this sequencer.
First we assign the midi device, which may be the sound card or an external midi keyboard, then we assign the channel to which we are going to work (each instrument has
to go in a different channel) with the exception of batteries that always beats Iran in cana10.
I always got the piano midi channel 1
Under midi channel 2
And so, respectively.
A MIDI TRACK RECORD
Set the
metronome

You can set to sound when playing or recording, the metronome can count any number of bars or early days, AND you can use audio clips to play MIDI notes or sounds is also quickly and accurately change tempo to occur in the project.
You can configure the toolbar with Metronome. If you can not see the Metronome toolbar, select View toolbar and select Metronome.

3. Click to select clapperboard bars.
4. Uncheck the option metronome during recording
